Q: Do I need to sign a waiver to participate at an activity at the MAC?
A: Yes! If you're attending an Open Gym or party at the MAC, you'll need to complete the online waiver or a hard copy of the waiver at the facility. You do not need to fill it out if you come back as our waiver is good moving forward. You can fill out the one time waiver here.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are in Portland, Maine and a prime location for programs and teams throughout the State. We are conveniently located 5 minutes from the I-95 Exit 53 (West Falmouth) and the I-95 Exit 48 (Westbrook), while only being 10 minutes from downtown Portland.
Q: How big is the field and what will I find at the facility?
A: The field is a plush 3" FieldTurf Synthetic grass surface which measures 75 yards x 40 yards or 225 feet x 120 feet. The ceiling is enclosed in 1" mesh netting with 120 T5 light fixtures. Guests and teams/clubs will have access to our new 2nd floor fitness center and our 2nd floor heated viewing room with free internet access. We have clean bathrooms onsite with a water fountain with bottle filler.
Q: What type of footwear is best on the field?
A: The indoor field is FieldTurf synthetic grass. Cleats (no metal spikes), turf shoes or sneakers are the preferred footwear for this surface.
Q: Do you have a lost and found?
A: Yes, in the main office there is a bin to retrieve any items left at the building. It is necessary that you retrieve your items in a timely manner as after some time we may donate the unclaimed items.
Q: Do you have a meeting room?
A: We have a 2nd floor viewing room where guests can watch the field/games. This room can also accommodate parties or company meetings in off hours at an additional cost and must be booked ahead of schedule.
Q: How do I know if a game/event has been cancelled due to road conditions?
A: Please check with your coach or club/team representative to see if your program or event has been canceled. If we make the decision to close the facility early, we will post a message on the homepage of our website and on our social media accounts.
Q: Do you sell food and drinks at the MAC?
A: No. Guests are responsible for providing their own food and drink.
